Applicants must take and pass a pre-entry test in order to enroll in the Basic Peace Officer Course. Call Julie Ryan at 806.762.8721 to set up a date and time to take the test. 

• The test will take approximately one hour to complete
• Applicants must take the test individually at the SPAG office building located at 58th Street and Avenue P, Lubbock, Texas
• Applicants must pass the pre-entry test with a score of 80% or better to receive the Academy application packet
• The test is fee is $20 and a $210 (non-refundable) deposit is required upon passing pre-entry test
