Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and/or at least two years of administrative experience. Training in the specific operations and duties associated with the position will be provided! The ideal candidate should be self-directed, receptive to professional skills development and have a desire to utilize creative problem solving skills. This position is empowered to use independent judgement and offers a rewarding public service experience and the opportunity to help people across the South Plains region.

Specific tasks will include:
• Create and maintain relationships with local and state officials,
• Oversight of state and federal grants that enhance the quality of life for residents in the South Plains
• Project and construction management, and
• Administration of regional planning programs that encourage natural and economic diversity

The starting salary range for this position is between $3,208-$3,541.67 monthly. This position will also have a comprehensive benefits package which includes retirement (through TCDRS), health & dental insurance (fully covered for the employee by SPAG), paid vacation and sick leave, optional life insurance and more!
